The National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) – a non-profit research organization registered with the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the government of Taiwan, the Republic of China – invites applicants for the position of President.
NHRI was founded in January 1996. Its mission is to advance medical development and to promote the health and welfare of people in Taiwan. NHRI aims at:
Promoting intramural research programs,
Forming cooperative research centers and networks,
Providing extramural research grants and training programs,
Offering research resources and services,
Serving as a think tank for the government on health policy.
Candidates for the vacancy should possess the following qualifications:
Clear recognition of the objectives and mission of NHRI, and familiarity with the scientific research community in Taiwan,
Excellent leadership with administrative experience,
Outstanding academic achievements and reputation,
Integrity and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Curriculum vitae,
A list of publications,
Three references (with one joint or separate recommendation letters).
