財團法人國家衛生研究院公開徵求院長
NHRI invites applications for the position of President

  1. 財團法人國家衛生研究院（以下簡稱本院 ）係衛生福利部依立法院三讀通過、總統明令公布之設置條例捐資成立之公設財團法人，其宗旨為增進國人健康福祉、提升醫藥衛生水準、發展醫藥科技、培育醫學人才。本院自即日起公開徵求新院長候選人。

  2. 本院業務範圍包括：
    （一）推動院內醫藥衛生研究。
    （二）建立醫藥學術網絡暨促進學術合作。
    （三）辦理院外獎補助研究暨人才培訓計畫。
    （四）建置醫藥衛生研究資源與服務。
    （五）提供政府衛生政策建言。

  3. 院長由董事會聘任，受董事會之監督綜理院務，並由董事會授權對外代表本院。院長候選人應具備下列各項條件：
    （一）認同本院宗旨與研究精神，並對國內科學研究發展有一定程度之瞭解且具有優秀領導能力。
    （二）具有卓越之學術成就及聲望。
    （三）具高尚之品德及操守、良好溝通能力與行政能力。
    （四）處事公正能超越黨派及個人利益。

  4. 本院已設置院長遴選委員會，辦理院長遴選事宜。有意申請或提名者，請檢附學經歷、著作表及3位推薦人之推薦信（可聯名）送達：

The National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) – a non-profit research organization registered with the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the government of Taiwan, the Republic of China – invites applicants for the position of President.

NHRI was founded in January 1996. Its mission is to advance medical development and to promote the health and welfare of people in Taiwan. NHRI aims at:
  1. Promoting intramural research programs,
  2. Forming cooperative research centers and networks,
  3. Providing extramural research grants and training programs,
  4. Offering research resources and services,
  5. Serving as a think tank for the government on health policy.
Candidates for the vacancy should possess the following qualifications:
  1. Clear recognition of the objectives and mission of NHRI, and familiarity with the scientific research community in Taiwan,
  2. Excellent leadership with administrative experience,
  3. Outstanding academic achievements and reputation,
  4. Integrity and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Any application/nomination to the Search Committee for NHRI’s President shall include:
  1. A letter of application or nomination,
  2. Curriculum vitae,
  3. A list of publications,
  4. Three references (with one joint or separate recommendation letters).
