Position Open: Director, Institute of Cellular and System Medicine
The Director is responsible for supervision of research programs within the institute, as well as for research collaboration with other sections of NHRI and outside institutions. Prospective candidates should have strong organizational, communicative, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with others at all levels inside and outside of NHRI. Applicants should have a doctorate (Ph.D. and/or M.D.) in biomedical sciences and demonstrate a successful record of conducting interdisciplinary research, particularly in aging-related cardiometabolic and neurodegenerative diseases, and their therapy and regeneration.
Familiarity with Taiwan’s scientific and medical community, proficiency in the Chinese language, and the ability to work effectively in Taiwan’s research environment are preferred.
Interested applicants are asked to submit a complete curriculum vitae, reprints of three selected publications, as well as a statement of research expertise and administrative experience. In addition, please arrange three letters of reference to be sent to:
